The Online Voting Service as a part of your personal site can be used to reveal dominating ideas and opinions, as well as topics of interest to a specific scientific community.Using the SPZ Voting Service, you can create polls, from simplest to sophisticated ones. To run your own web poll, you just have to create a questionnaire that is to be filled in by visitors of your site. You can change the topic for voting as often as you wish. The most complete poll configuration can include:
· a link to statistics charts of previous poll, if any;
· a possibility to offer a new poll topic and to view the waiting list of proposed topics;
· an opportunity of browsing the archives of previous polls, including the charts, etc.If you selected the voting service as one of main blocks of your personal site, you have the following options to manage the poll:
- Add an online questionnaire form to your site. The simplest version of the poll is created following items 1-3 items in the Poll manager of SPZ menu.
The following options can be used at your personal site in any combination.
- Add link to statistics of previous polls, if any. The link can be inserted only after the first replacement of active voting (item 3 in the Poll Manager menu).
- Add a link to the waiting list of future poll topics. The visitors of your personal site can add a new topic (questionnaire) to the list (item 2 in the Poll Manager menu). The visitors can raise the chances of preferred topics to be switched to the active voting mode.
